2025 FC Barcelona player wages: The highest earners in the squad

Barcelona has turned a corner under Hansi Flick, and they appear to be back to the level of form and domination that they have frequently demonstrated over the years. They've brought some really brilliant young players through the ranks throughout the years, but they've also spent exorbitant fees for some of the sport's greatest names.

Flick ensures a good equilibrium of both parties. Lamine Yamal and Gavi came via the academy, and they have also welcomed proven superstars like Robert Lewandowski to Camp Nou. As they try to reclaim the La Liga championship, here's how much each senior squad member is taking him every week.

Goalkeepers

Given his uncontested status as Barcelona's number-one goalkeeper, it's no surprise that Marc-Andre ter Stegen earns considerably more than any other shot-stopper in the club right now, with a weekly salary of more than €120,000. When he's fit, there's little doubt that he'll be trusted to stand between the sticks, and he's one of the top goalkeepers in the world.

If he is unavailable, as he currently is, they have two strong replacements in Inaki Pena and Wojciech Szczesny. The former is the second-highest-paid goalkeeper at Camp Nou, earning little more than €60,000 per week, while the latter isn't far behind at €57,692. The former Arsenal player just came out of retirement to join Barcelona, where he earns a good weekly pay. Ander Astralaga is the squad's final goalkeeper, and at 20 years old, the Spaniard is at the bottom of the pecking order, as evidenced by his weekly salary of €3,846.

1. Marc-Andre ter Stegen - €121,154/£100,688-per-week (August 25, 2023 to June 30, 2028)

2. Inaki Pena - €62,500/£51,942-per-week (May 9, 2023 to June 30, 2026)

3. Wojciech Szczesny - €57,692/£47,947-per-week (October 2, 2024 to June 30, 2025)

4. Ander Astralaga - €3,846/£3,196-per-week (July 25, 2025 to June 30, 2026)

Defenders

In defence, one individual earns far more than everyone else: Jules Kounde. Signed from Sevilla in 2022, he became one of the most expensive centre-backs ever. He has been a constant presence for Barcelona this season, earning more than €250,000 a week for his efforts. Inigo Martinez ranks second, earning €180,385 per week. He's been a crucial role for the team this season, appearing in all but one league game, and with his contract scheduled to expire at the conclusion of the season, he might be in line for a salary increase soon.

The same cannot be said about Andreas Christensen, who earns €173,077 per week, making him the team's third highest-paid defender. The former Chelsea player has been out with an achilles issue all season. Ronald Araujo and Eric Garcia are both making more than €100,000 each week.

Pau Cubarsi and Clement Lenglet have signed new contracts with Barcelona, receiving weekly wages of €76,923 and €38,462, respectively. Aleandro Balde earns little over €30,000 per week, while Hector Fort is the lowest-paid defender at Camp Nou. He still earns a large sum on a weekly basis, taking home €16,154.

1. Jules Kounde - €260,577/£216,560-per-week (July 28, 2022 to June 30, 2027)

2. Inigo Martinez - €180,385/£149,914-per-week (July 5, 2023 to June 30, 2025)

3. Andreas Christensen - €173,077/£143,840-per-week (July 4, 2022 to June 30, 2026)

4. Ronald Araujo - €134,615/£111,876-per-week (April 29, 2022 to June 30, 2026)

5. Eric Garcia - €115,385/£95,894-per-week (July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2026)

6. Pau Cubarsi - €76,923/£63,929-per-week (May 9, 2024 to June 30, 2027)

7. Clement Lenglet - €38,462/£31,965-per-week (August 26, 2024 to June 30, 2027)

8. Alejandro Balde - €32,115/£26,690-per-week (September 20, 2023 to June 30, 2028)

9. Hector Fort - €16,154/£13,425-per-week (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026)

Midfielders

Barcelona fans have recently become bored of Frenkie de Jong's poor performances and want him out of the club. It's simple to understand why, knowing that he earns €365,385 every week. He earns nearly twice as much as second-place finisher Pedri (€180,385). Pedri is the team's last midfielder with a salary of more than €100,000.

Three players from the Barcelona academy complete the midfield group. Fermin Lopez, Marc Casado, and Marc Bernal all rose through the ranks at Camp Nou and signed new contracts in 2024 that will keep them with the club for the foreseeable future. The trio earns €76,923, €10,000, and €6,154 every week, respectively.

1. Frenkie de Jong - €365,385/£303,663-per-week (October 20, 2020 to June 30, 2026)

2. Pedri - €180,385/£149,914-per-week (October 14, 2021 to June 30, 2026)

3. Gavi - €130,769/£108,679-per-week (September 14, 2022 to June 30, 2026)

4. Fermin Lopez - €76,923/£74,957-per-week (October 31, 2024 to June 30, 2029)

5. Marc Casado - €10,000/£8,311-per-week (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2028)

6. Marc Bernal - €6,154/£5,114-per-week (July 24, 2024 to June 30, 2026)

Forwards

Barcelona has turned into one of the world's most exciting offensive sides under Flick, and they now have an excellent roster of attackers at their disposal. Robert Lewandowski is maturing like a wonderful wine. At 36 years old, he's scored 15 league goals in 14 matches this season, and while his weekly compensation of €640,962 remains a touch ludicrous, he's doing his part on the field. Ansu Fati was perhaps Camp Nou's most promising young talent, but things haven't gone as planned since. Nonetheless, he currently earns €268,269 each week.

Raphinha has pushed his game to new heights since leaving Yorkshire for Spain, and he earns slightly about €250,000 each week. Ferran Torres and new signing Dani Olmo both earn close to €200,000 per week and are the last strikers on the team to earn six figures every seven days.

Lamine Yamal has been one of Barcelona's most successful academy graduates since Lionel Messi. The youthful wonder is one of the world's top young players, yet he is on a very affordable contract in compared to his abilities. He makes €31,115 every week. Pau Victor and Pablo Torre round out the team, earning €7,308 and €4,038 each week, respectively.

1. Robert Lewandowski - €640,962/£532,689-per-week (July 19, 2022 to June 30, 2026)

2. Ansu Fati - €268,269/£222,953-per-week (October 21, 2021 to June 30, 2027)

3. Raphinha - €240,385/£199,778-per-week (July 13, 2022 to June 30, 2027)

4. Ferran Torres - €192,308/£159,823-per-week (January 1, 2022 to June 30, 2027)

5. Dani Olmo - €180,385/£149,914-per-week (August 9, 2024 to June 30, 2030)
